Vinita Balasubramanian

Born and raised in India, Vinita Balasubramanian studied in India, U.K. and Germany and divides her time between Germany, India and the USA. Fluently tri-lingual, she specializes in intercultural competence training and leadership coaching for multinational companies worldwide, including Mercedes-Benz. Vinita holds an MA degree in English Literature and has just completed her PhD thesis on intercultural communication in global virtual teams based on two decades of work experience. Vinita is an author, certified intercultural trainer (U.K.), three-language interpreter (Germany), and university lecturer.

Michelle Mitchell is a mindful leadership coach, with over 25 years of leadership experience with organizations such as Dept of the Navy, Vidal Sassoon and Paul Mitchell. Michelle's expertise is devising and delivering mindful strategies that create psychological safety for diverse teams to improve productivity. She values CI as an essential foundation for every human interaction. Michelle is certified by the Association of Integrative Psychology and holds a BS in International Business and a MS in Strategic Management. As well as certifications in CI, DEI from Purdue, MBSR from UCSD, and NLP.

Tania Shaik

Tania consults and researches for Signi® in Amsterdam. She is also an educator passionate about effecting change and promoting conflict resolution through restorative justice practices and cross-cultural dialogue. Having lived and studied in Russia and the Netherlands, she has developed excellent intercultural skills. These experiences abroad lent her expertise, which she utilized in her career as a researcher for a think-tank to an NGO that provided post-conflict aid. Tania holds a degree in International Relations from the University of California (Riverside) and a graduate degree in Conflict Resolution and Governance from the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands).

Sonia focuses on cultivating a winning company culture, building diverse high-performing teams, producing attraction marketing, and inclusive marketing. Sonia spent 9 years at Johnson & Johnson growing multi-million and billion dollar healthcare brands around the world. She combines all those experiences from three different worlds, academic, corporate and entrepreneurship, to bring a unique and dynamic perspective.

Carey Treadway

Carey is Co-founder, Head of Innovation and Signi® Consultant. Her passion and knowledge of culture comes from over two decades of dedicated and intense cross-cultural work and service. She has served years in partner relations with a large international NGO. Her experience includes small business formation and management, formal education, community development and successful ex-pat child rearing. Carey also holds a degree in cross-cultural communication from San Francisco State University and is certified in Cultural Intelligence from Purdue University, Islamic Cultural Studies from EWI and Design Thinking for Innovation from Seeds Global.

Shane Treadway

Shane Treadway is Co-Founder and Consultant for Signi®, educator, entrepreneur, and life-long-learner. For over 20 years, he has dedicated his life to cultivating deep cross-cultural relationships. Shane has successfully initiated three non-profit and two for-profit organizations within intercultural contexts in the U.S. and Peru, always interdependent upon amazing, diverse teams. He has consulted the Peruvian Government, Uber Technologies, DES Washington and SBDC California, among other valuable organizations. Shane holds a degree in religion and a graduate degree in Anthropology from Western Washington University, and holds certifications in Cultural Intelligence and DEI from Purdue University.

Lauralyn Vasquez

Lauralyn Vasquez is a speaker, writer, pastor, focusing on building bridges through diversity helping people grow in their cultural intelligence. She has spoken throughout the country on the value of  working with diverse people and how to succeed with diversity. She enjoys a good story, laughing with friends, and spending time outdoors. As an International Host family, she discovered the importance of Cultural Intelligence. She has also lived around the United States for her career in education and discovered within those different regions the need for cultural intelligence. She holds her Masters in Educational Technology with a BA in Sociology and certificate in Spiritual Direction and Cultural Intelligence.
